Trevor Noah made Adele's dream of meeting Dwayne Johnson come true during Grammys 2023 and the moment was captured on camera during the comedian's opening monologue.

"The person that Adele has always wanted to meet but never have is Dwayne Johnson," the 38-year-old comedian, who was responsible to host the ceremony, said. The 34-year-old singer can be seen mouthing, "It's true" in response to Noah's statement.

Noah went on to share that Johnson is also a "huge fan" of Adele. "I don't have Dwayne Johnson here tonight, but I do have someone called 'The Rock,'" he said.

As soon as Noah said "The Rock," which is Johnson's ring name when he used to be a professional wrestler, the actor walked up to Adele from behind with a huge smile on his face.

Adele looked absolutely surprised and then got up from her seat to hug the actor. They both shared a little conversation before they hugged each other.

Noah jokingly said, "Alright, you two get acquainted, we are going to keep the show moving." Johnson and Adele both laughed as they moved away.

Aside from making Adele's dream come true, the comedian also cracked jokes at various celebrities including Beyonce.

"I was so inspired by the lyrics of 'Break My Soul' I actually quit my job," said Noah, who hosted "The Daily Show" from 2015 to 2022. "I just fell in love / And I just quit my job. I just wish Beyonce had also written a song about the importance of having savings before you quit your job," he added.

He also took a dig at Harry Styles, saying, "Women throw their panties at him – and he looks better in them than they do. Easily the world's sexiest man – the sex symbol of the globe, especially now that they killed off the green M&M."

The 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards was held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night. The show aired on the CBS network and streamed live on Paramount+.
