'Genshin Impact': Shenhe Abilities And Animations Leaked

Following the reveal of Shenhe’s official art, leaks showing her potential abilities and in-game animations have surfaced online, giving players a glimpse of how this new Cryo character can fit in a normal “Genshin Impact” team.

Several months after the first iteration of her model was leaked, Shenhe has finally been confirmed as a Cryo user wielding a polearm similar to Rosaria. This upcoming 5-star character bears some resemblance to Ganyu and the crane-like adeptus Cloud Retainer. Her design also has some similarities to that of Azure Empyre Fu Hua from miHoYo’s other game, “Honkai Impact.”

In “Genshin,” Shenhe will reportedly fulfill a DPS/Debuffer role, according to a leaked abilities sheet posted in the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord channel. Her basic attacks have a relatively high percentage scaling, ranging from 97.9% on the first hit to 156.4% on the final hit of her combo chain, the leak claimed. Although she doesn’t hit as hard per attack as someone like Rosaria, 98% damage on the first swing is nothing to scoff at.

A short video showcasing Shenhe’s idle and combat animations was posted by Genshin Intel on Twitter.

Shenhe’s Elemental Skill is One Heart’s Icy Quill. Upon pressing the skill button, Shenhe dashes forward together with her Sealed Spirit, dealing Cryo damage to all enemies along the way.

When the button is held, Shenhe performs an AoE attack. Casting this ability grants allies the Icy Quill buff, which buffs their damage based on Shenhe’s ATK stat every time they attack or hit enemies with Cryo.

Her Elemental Burst is Twin Forms. Shenhe unbinds her Sealed Spirit, causing it to attack all enemies in an area for a short duration. Every enemy hit by the spirit will have their Cryo and Phys RES reduced.

Players running with Cryo or Phys DPS carries like Ganyu and Eula can benefit immensely from having Shenhe on their team. Shenhe can not only buff the team’s ATK stats, but she can also shred Cryo and Phys RES from enemies as well. She can act as a Sub-DPS/Support along with characters like the Raiden Shogun or Kazuha for maximum resistance shred, allowing the party’s hardest-hitting carries to make easy work of any enemy.
