  • Charlize Theron turned down a chance to be in a relationship in 2020
  • Theron earlier said she never wanted to get married
  • The actress has two adopted children Jackson, 10, and August, 8

Charlize Theron revealed she is single and has no love interest at the moment.

"During COVID, somebody was interested in doing this thing with me. It was just a deep dive into a relationship. And I was just like, I don't know if I wanna... I just feel so out of practice," the 47-year-old actress told Harper's Bazaar in the outlet's cover issue this month.

The "Atomic Blonde" actress previously spoke about her life choices, particularly on why she never wants to get married.

"I've never wanted to get married. That's never been something that's important to me," The "Mad Max: Fury Road" actress told Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show in 2020. Pressed by Stern if she craves to find 'love in her life,' Theron replied, "I have two great little loves of my life right now. Life is filled with love... I have never been lonely, I have never felt alone."

Theron is a mother to her two adopted children, Jackson, 10, and August, 8.

"My life right now doesn't allow room for something like that [a romantic relationship] to happen... but there's not this need that drives me [to find romance]. I don't know if I'll ever be able to live with someone else again, to be perfectly frank they might have to buy the house next to me because I don't know if I'm going to be able to f***ing deal with that ever again. I'm too old for that sh*t," she said in the podcast.

The absence of a romantic partner also does not bother the actress whose focus is on being a good parent to her kids.

"When my kids say, 'Mom, nobody makes pasta better than you,' nothing gets close to that," she said.

"I don't ever need them to be like, 'Oh, you're in that movie.' I am still carrying such a grudge that there's a mom in our circle who makes French toast that my kid raves about. And she's given me the recipe and I've tried it. And every time I make it, my kid is like, 'No, Aunt Nicole's is better.' I am way more driven by that stuff."
