Catherine Zeta-Jones showed her support to the new Princess of Wales on social media.

King Charles made Prince William and Kate Middleton the new Prince and Princess of Wales when he ascended the throne. On Tuesday, the royal couple visited Wales and met the Welsh people for the first time with their new titles.

The Welsh Hollywood star showed her support for Middleton by sharing a photo of her on Instagram. In the snap, the Duchess of Cambridge is crouching while holding an adorable baby wearing a traditional Welsh costume.

"I love our Princess of Wales [red heart emoji]. I love our Welsh National Costume [red heart emoji]," Zeta-Jones wrote in the caption.

Several netizens echoed the "Mask of Zorro" star's sentiment. According to them, they also love the new Princess of Wales.

"So very proud of our new Princess of Wales. [S]uch a gorgeous photo," one commented. "I love her too, and I'm not even British," another added.

"Love her and the costume also," a third person wrote. A fourth user stated, "I agree with you on both counts."

During the Prince and Princess of Wales' visit, they met the volunteers and crew members of RNLI Holyhead Lifeboat Station. They also took a short walk to meet the people in Holyhead Marine and Café Bar.

The royal couple proceeded to St. Thomas's Church, where about 300 well-wishers waited for them. The church bells rang to the tune of "God Save the King," and many of the spectators sang along shortly before Prince William and Middleton's arrival.

Those who met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were delighted to see them. Like Zeta-Jones, they were also happy that Prince William and Middleton now hold the Welsh titles.

"It's wonderful that Charles bestowed the title on them," local Sarah East, 65, told People. "He was always known as William of Wales as a boy. They're so well-suited to it as they've lived in Anglesey and know all about Wales."

"It's brilliant they're here. Our future King and Queen. It could not be better that it's them," 80-year-old Pauline Bushrod added.

Zeta-Jones also paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth when she passed away. The "No Reservations" star shared a throwback photo of the late monarch.

"Dearest HRH Queen Elizabeth, you have been and always will be close to my humble heart as it breaks today. Our nation salutes you. Thank you. God Bless The Queen. Long Live The King," she wrote in the caption.
